Coach - Jan Treska

Hi, I’m Jan and have been practising martial arts for over 20 years, had successfully competed at national and international level winning English, British and European titles. I found kickboxing among other martial arts as a great way, to improve flexibility, fitness, self confidence, and to have fun by getting a total body workout while learning simple self defence moves. Therefore I am very happy to pass and share my skills and experience with you.

Club President - Christopher Hinchcliffe

Hi, I'm Chris and I'm thrilled to be serving as club president for the next year. I've been involved with martial arts for 9 years, and I've really enjoyed training with OUKBC this last year.

I'm a third year DPhil student in the law faculty, but as I'm always keen to point out to anyone who'll listen, I'm a philosopher, not a lawyer. So what's my philosophy for the club? We're here to help you train hard, have a blast and improve yourself everyday. That's it. We have an awesome committee this year and we're all excited to help make OUKbC the club you want it to be.

Male Squad Captain - Dan Osborne

I’m Dan, the male squad captain.

I joined the club last October and have loved every minute of it since. The club is friendly and I would recommend everyone to give it a go, whether you want to train for fitness, fun or to fight. My aim for the coming year is to keep everyone training hard, try to get new people sparring and try to arrange some fights!

Female Squad Captain, IT Officer - Kirstie Moore

Hi, I'm Kirstie and I'm the female captain which basically means my job get you all excited about sparring. I'm a third year geographer, and I've been doing kickboxing for the past two years.
Feel free to come and say hi to me in training, honestly i'm not that scary!

Club Treasurer - Soloman Roberts

I'm Solomon and I'm the Treasurer so I get to write the cheques. I joined the club as a Fresher two years ago and was instantly sucked in. Kickboxing is a great way to release stress, meet new people from different sections of the university and stay in shape. See you at training

Club Secretary - Leah Atherton

Hi, I'm Leah, Linguistcs MPhil and club Secretary. Joining OUKbC was about the first thing I did when I got to Oxford in Oct last year and quickly discovered that 1. the training is amazingly

good fun and easy to get hooked on; and 2. the club has a really friendly atmosphere and is great for meeAng new folks from across the uni. So whether you're on your own or dragging a friend with you, come and have a go. You won't regret it!

Social Secretary - Ivan Dimov

Hey, this is Ivan, your social secretary, speaking. My job is pretty self explanatory; I'm in charge of pints, crew-dates, nights out and general organized banter like that. Feel free, to ask about events, to give me feedback, or to just say hi, if you see me in training.

Senior Member - Kat Young

Hey, I'm Kat, the Senior Member. I'm a 3rd year biologist and joined OUKbC last year and I'm having an awesome time. It's a great way to get fit, make new friends, and leave worries about essays behind

you. Do come and say hi at training, I'm friendly, honest!
